Alaska West Freight Service is a provider of services to even the most remote Alaskan waterways.

Our goal is to provide quality, reliable and timely service to any part of Alaska assessible by landing craft. We move construction equipment, fishing gear, your famly's furniture and everything in between.

Our landing craft has a 200,000 pound capacity and 1500 square feet of deck area. When fully loaded with 100 tons, it draws only four feet of water. We can easily beach the landing craft to load and unload freight without need for a dock or pier. Iron Mike's triple screw has plenty of power and turning capability. Twin hydraulic pumps provide redundancy for a 5 ton deck crane with a 50 foot boom.
